UAE Civil Defence approved ACP

In the UAE, external cladding must satisfy the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code enforced by Civil Defence. ALUCOPANEL supplies aluminium composite panel in A2 (limited combustibility) and A1 (non-combustible) grades that carry the reaction-to-fire classifications Civil Defence requires, with test certificates supplied for your submission.

This is the documentation that lets consultants specify and contractors submit with confidence: the right fire class for the building height and occupancy, backed by EN 13501-1 test reports and an ISO 9001 quality system.

Frequently asked questions

What is UAE Civil Defence approval for cladding?

It is acceptance of a facade cladding material under the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, enforced by Civil Defence. Grades such as A2 and A1, classified to EN 13501-1, carry the performance Civil Defence requires.

Which ALUCOPANEL grades are Civil Defence approved?

ALUCOPANEL A1 (non-combustible) and A2 (limited combustibility) carry the EN 13501-1 classifications recognised for UAE facades; FR is a fire-retardant grade for applications where the fire strategy permits.

How do I get certificates for my project?

We supply EN 13501-1 test reports, datasheets and certificates with orders and on request, so you can complete your Civil Defence and consultant submissions.

Which fire class does my building need?

It depends on building height and occupancy. High-rise and high-risk buildings typically require A2 or A1; confirm the exact class with your fire consultant against the current UAE Fire & Life Safety Code.
